Welcome to our product update for July and August 2025 at FireBox! We have been busy, and these two months have brought some exciting changes, particularly with the launch of our new campaign editor in FireBox version 3. Our goal is always to make using FireBox easier and more effective for you. We are also thrilled to announce a new feature coming soon: Revenue Attribution.
If you missed our previous updates, check out our May & June issue to stay informed about recent features and improvements. Let’s look at what’s new in the last two months!
The New Campaign Editor Experience
Version 3.0.0, released on July 23, 2025, features a completely redesigned campaign editor. This significant update offers a more modern and user-friendly interface, simplifying the design and management of your campaigns. We have improved the workflow by integrating settings directly into the sidebar of the Gutenberg editor. This allows you to focus on the live preview of your campaign, enabling quicker design iterations and a clearer editing process. With this update, you'll spend less time searching for options and more time creating impactful campaigns.

Enhanced Form Block Functionality
We have made significant improvements to the Form block, providing you with more options for managing the actions that occur after a user submits a form. These updates are designed to enhance the user experience and offer you greater flexibility in how your campaigns engage with visitors.
New "Confirmation" Panel in Form Block
The Form block now includes a dedicated "Confirmation" panel. This new panel centralizes all settings related to what happens after a submission, such as success messages and redirect URLs. By grouping these options, we have made form configuration much more straightforward, helping you manage post-submission actions with ease.

"Visibility After Submission" in Form Block
You now have the option to control the visibility of a campaign after a visitor submits a form. This new setting allows you to choose whether the campaign should remain visible on the page, be hidden for the remainder of the session, or be hidden permanently. This provides greater control over the user journey and can help maintain a clean user experience on your site.

Improved eCommerce Display Conditions
For users of FireBox with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads, we have made a significant improvement to the "Amount in Cart" display condition. This enhancement allows for more accurate audience targeting based on their shopping cart contents.
We have introduced an "Exclude Taxes" toggle for the "Amount in Cart" display condition in both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. Previously, when setting up conditions based on cart totals, taxes were included by default, which could affect your targeting accuracy. With this new feature, you can now choose whether to include or exclude taxes from the total when configuring conditions for your campaigns. This enhancement allows for more precise audience segmentation, ensuring that your campaigns effectively reach the right shoppers based on their net cart value.

Accessibility and Smart Tags Updates
We are always working to make FireBox easier for everyone to use and manage. These updates improve both the user experience and the flexibility of our tools.
"Close with ESC Key" Now in Free Version
The option to "Close with ESC Key" for campaigns is now available in the free version of FireBox. This small but important change improves accessibility for all users, allowing visitors to easily dismiss campaigns using a common keyboard shortcut.

Optional Smart Tags "fpf" Prefix
The "fpf" prefix for Smart Tags is now optional. Your existing Smart Tags will still work, and you can now use a shorter format, for example, {user.email}
instead of {fpf user.email}
. This makes Smart Tags simpler to use and remember, speeding up your campaign creation process.

These fixes and improvements aim to make your FireBox experience more steady and pleasant. We suggest you update to the latest version to use these new features.

We are excited to share a first look at an upcoming feature that will change how you view the impact of your FireBox campaigns: Revenue Attribution.

This new feature will let you see the exact amount of revenue FireBox has helped generate for your sales. You will get information on two key numbers:
- View-Through Revenue: This tracks cases where a user sees a FireBox campaign but does not convert directly through a form or button click, and then later buys something. This shows how your campaigns influence sales even without a direct click.
- Conversion-Through Revenue: This number focuses on users who see a campaign, convert through a FireBox Form or a Button/Image block with conversion enabled, and then make a purchase.
The new Sales Funnel Analysis provides a comprehensive view of the entire journey, from Views to Conversions to Purchases. You can see exactly how many people drop off at each step and where your campaigns lose momentum. For example, if 5,000 people view your campaign but only 200 purchase, you will know if the drop happened after the first conversion or closer to the checkout. The Overall Conversion Rate tells you how many visitors become paying customers, making it easier to improve weak points and focus on campaigns that bring real revenue.

Note: This project is a work in progress, so the design and features are still being worked out.
