CHOOSE YOUR MAP PROVIDER

OpenStreetMap

Add responsive and interactive maps to your WordPress content quickly and without the need for coding. Our map block is powered by OpenStreetMap, a free and open-source map that does not require an API key to work.

We are planning to bring support for Google Maps and Bing Maps in the near future.

DRAGGABLE MULTIPLE MARKERS

Pin your favorite places with markers

Add multiple markers anywhere on the map with drag and drop. Get a precise location and address by providing the latitude and longtitude information. Each marker can have a title and description displayed in a tooltip upon click.

ZOOM CONTROL • SCALE • LAZY LOAD

Customizable Map Block

Zoom in and out of the map with ease using the zoom option. There’s a Height option that allows you to set the displayed map at a certain height for each device.

Our Map block speeds up your site by deferring the loading of the below-the-fold maps to when they will enter the viewport. We are using a lazy-load technique based on the browser’s Intersection Observer API.

Find the answers that you need

Do you have questions about FireBlocks? We have answers!

Will the map block slow down my site?

FireBlocks is built with performance in mind which means no matter how many maps exist on a page, it will only load a map if the map is visible to the user. This essentially means that if a map is not visible to the user, it won't load at all.

Can I add multiple markers on a map?

Your map can have as many markers as you desire. Each map marker can also have a label and description and once the marker is clicked, a tooltip will appear with the title and description for your users to read more about each marker location.
