Analytics – Introduction

Analytics helps you track the effectiveness of your popups and improve your popup’s performance by giving you up-to-the-minute statistical information. Analytics can help you increase your sales and leads by providing you reliable data for your campaigns. FireBox Analytics makes it easy to get the stats you need for your popups which will help you improve your leads.

Analytics are split into 3 sections.

  • Toolbar/Filters
  • Chart
  • Results

Each section will be discussed on a respective documentation page.

The toolbar helps you filter your charts by providing the following options:

  • Date
  • Popup
  • Country
  • Device
  • Event
  • Page
  • Referrer

Each toolbar item contains filtering options to help you narrow down your results and help you identify how your popup performs under each scenario.

Metrics are core to analytics as they provide the statistical information used to display charts and review how your popup is performing.

FireBox provides the following metrics:

  • Impressions – Refers to the number of times a popup has been displayed to your users on your site.
  • Average Time Open – Is the average amount of time a popup remains open in the browser.

The chart can be filtered to display any of the metrics or even both metrics so you can compare them.

The chart is a visual representation of the captured metrics that easily helps you understand how your popups perform.

Results are an extension to the chart by providing information about all toolbar items mentioned above on all dates found within the chart.

Results are composed of tabs from each toolbar item that provides information about the toolbar item for each selected metric.

Results can also be filtered by how many items to show per row and switch between the total number of results via previous/next arrows.
